Bad Feeling, Worse Result

Another poor quest design by Blizzard. Why put the elite quest mob at the end of an heroic, when anyone not on the quest will leave, thereby preventing those with this quest from completing. Does anyone at Blizz even think about this kind of basic fact when designing these quests?

Running the instance on normal or heroic has no effect on this mob.

Solo'd at 440 ilvl, Disc Priest, on the PTR due to the scaling. It's very unforgiving!
Lin Da-Gu has 7.9m health and no enrage to the looks of it.
4 abilities:
Bowls - These 3 sets of bowl ping around the arena and inflict 150k physical dmg on contact. Avoidable as they travel in a straight line across the arena

Noodles - After as set period of time Lin cast "Noodles" and throws sticky noodles on the ground (about 5 patches 3 yards wide). Standing in these reduces movement speed by 50% or so.

Boiling Breath - Very deadly. Inflicts 200k fire dmg/sec in a 30 yard line in front of him. 2 sec cast time, 8 sec channel. As soon as you see him cast it, run away! He casts about 7 seconds after casting "Noodles."

Pinch of Spice - Void zones on the ground, very deadly. 200k fire dmg per tick. He throws about 5 patches out about 5 sec after Boiling Breath.
