Quest Log

Barreling Down (Alliance)

Barreling Down is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-90. It rewards 1 reward item, 9,500 experience and money.

Description

If it's ale ye be looking for, we've plenty to sample! Or at least we would if the dracthyr folk would hurry up and bring the rest of the barrels down here.

Some o' the dracthyr folk have come to celebrate here with us and decided to help transport the ale. Rolling barrels? That's no way to treat a good brew!

Mind lending a hand to bring those barrels over to Kharanos? And try not to break 'em!

The Barrel for this is inside Ironforge. When entering the city you can find it next to the left hand side bridge between bank and auction house side.

To the developer that designed this, a quick protip on game design: if you want to encourage people to use the green orbs to build up speed, you can't place them *just* far enough apart that the buff will almost certainly fall off before reaching the next one. Consider adding more or spacing them closer in a hotfix, because getting stuck back to 2mph on a barrel while halfway to Kharanos is a huge exercise in frustration.
