Watch out! The [npc=237730] barrels used in this quest do damage to everything when they explode and I do mean everything. Hostile NPCs, opposite-faction players (does not flag for PvP), same-faction players, and yourself! You can die from this!
(Didn't get a chance to test vs friendly NPCs--I'm not sure if there are any in the quest area.)
Edit: more interactions:
- Mounting does not drop the barrel
- Leaving the quest area DOES drop the barrel
- The explosion didn't damage my companion pet or Katy Stampwhistle.
This was fun. I was a menace throwing these barrels at both alliance and horde players.
I'm a terrible person.
