Such an odd decision, to put a quest with a minimum level requirement of 42 in the first quest hub of a level 35-40 zone. I doubt many levelling players will pick this one up.
This is a breadcrumb quest. If you go straight into [zone=722] and pickup [quest=27009] you won't be able to pick this quest up.

Description
The Scourge are a direct affront to nature. They have managed to corrupt the Quilboar in Razorfen Downs and now threaten to spread further into Thousand Needles and eventually, I fear, west into Feralas. You must go there and do anything you can to confine them. Perhaps you can find someone in the area to help you? The winds whisper of a powerful presence in the area.
Getting there
Inside the dungeon: Razorfen Downs
Legends state that where the demigod Agamaggan fell, his blood gave rise to great masses of thorny vines. Recently, scouts have reported seeing undead milling about the region, engendering fears that the dreaded Scourge may be moving to conquer Kalimdor.
Bosses in the Adventure Guide, in order: Aarux, Mordresh Fire Eye, Mushlump, Death Speaker Blackthorn, Amnennar the Coldbringer.
Entrance: Razorfen Downs, Thousand Needles at 47.8, 23.8.
