TheWoWDBSo apparently you can't get credit for this quest if you've already defeated the pets in a battle. I won the battle then accepted the quest and went back and won again and it won't trigger the Completed flag. Grab the quest first! :(

Mastering the Menagerie daily shares the same cooldown as Battle Pet Roundup, so if you do the daily at level 2 Menagerie, you won't be able to do your new daily as well when you level up the building.
Sadly, as of patch 7.0, this Quest is account wide. This make me a sad panda.
