Spoilin' for Salty Sea Dogs

One of the new patch 4.3 Darkmoon Faire profession quests, you must have at least 75 skill in Fishing to see this quest.

Simply fish off the coast of Darkmoon Island and you'll catch [item=73269] in addition to regular fish.

Although it only takes 5 casts to complete the quest, you may choose to continue fishing for a chance at a [item=73953] which can also be fished up from the water around Darkmoon Island.

The profession quests can only be completed once during each Darkmoon Faire and will grant 5 skill points.

The nearest vendors to the Darkmoon Faire portals are [npc=8362] (H), [npc=295] (A) for the Moonberry Juice and [npc=8363] (H), [npc=66] (A) for all the other trade goods. You'll have to collect the fossil fragments yourself. If you forgot to bring your fishing rod with you, [npc=56069] on Darkmoon Island sells fishing supplies.

As of Legion pre-patch this quest is a whole lot more tedious.
In the past, every cast was rewarded with a Greater Sea Herring, now this is no longer the case.

It might be skill-based since I did this on a character with only 270 Fishing.

Best way to do this after legion pre-patch, if your fishing ain't high; fish in the darkmoon junk pools. Beats fishing 50 times for one lousy fish.

Weird and rather unnecessary nerf.
