Lots of pets work, particularly those with magic abilities, which are strong against flying creatures.

Here's a team I like:

#1 [npc=7545] with [petability=525], [petability=595], and the third ability doesn't matter
#2 [npc=68850] with [petability=525], [petability=597] and [petability=598]
#3 Level 10ish or higher carry pet

Start with [npc=7545], use [petability=595] whenever you're able to (it will be counterspelled, but your cooldown on the spell isn't triggered, so just recast it), and otherwise use [petability=525]. Your whelpling will die around the time the enemy does.

Switch to [npc=68850]. Use [petability=597] 5-turn damage reduction to keep your proto whelp's [petability=823] buff up. (If the enemy pet is faster than you, cast it when the buff still shows 1 turn remaining; if the enemy pet is slower than you, cast it when it's all the way off). Cast [petability=598] to heal when your health gets low (like 600ish), and try to time it so your [petability=823] will last for the 3 turns of healing. Otherwise cast [petability=525]. You can take out the last 2 enemies with the proto whelp. Swap in your carry pet for one turn on the last enemy, when your protowhelp has high health.

This strat relies on how much the RNG gods favor you, but I'd say it works about 95% of the time.

Chrominius (Arcane Explosion, Ancient Blessing, Surge of Power)

• Cast Arcane Explosion and you will be stunned by the enemy.

• Cast Ancient Blessing to heal during enemy Cocoon.

• Spam Arcane Explosion until her Cocoon is off cooldown, then...

• Cast Arcane Explosion until you are are at 800 HP or above. The enemy's next move does 399 damage and she goes first, so if you're above 800 HP, hit Arcane Explosion one more time and then Surge of Power to finish her off. If you're health is between 400 - 799, skip the last Arcane Explosion and cast Surge of Power.

Start with chrom and use bite you will be stunned so use bite again to remove the cocoon
then use howl
then surge of power
the enemy pet dies and your nether come in

arcane blast use life exchange if you are low on heath
pet dies other comes in
arcane blast
get your carry pet in he will get around 300 damage
then finish her off with moonfire .

This is the strat that worked for me after like 3 hours wasted there ,i have just started doing these PET BATTLES so i need step by step instructions :) ,so hoping if someone else is like me he/she can use this and save quite a bit of time .
