For those of you who are not mages, do NOT turn in this quest or the followup Learning to Leave and Return: The Magical Way. If you never turn the quest in, then anytime you need a port to Dalaran from Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, Grizzly Hills, or Howling Fjord, you can just accept this quest, get ported, then abandon the quest.
This quest and the follow-up (Learning to Leave and Return: the Magical Way) are not tied together - meaning you don't have to do this quest to open the second one. The second quest is also available at 70, so if you get ported or summoned into Dalaran before you hit 74, you can do the second quest immediately. However, if you do the second quest before the first one, it makes the first quest no longer available to you.

Description
Hello, {name}. You may or may not be aware that we Kirin Tor moved our city here to Northrend. No longer does Dalaran sit under its protective dome on the shores of Lordamere Lake. Now the city magically floats above the Crystalsong Forest. We believe you to be ready for your journey to the city. Speak with me again and I will cast a spell of teleportation to transport you there. When you arrive, seek out Archmage Celindra and give her my signet as proof that we spoke.
