TheWoWDBIf you take too long to pick up the Resored Quel'Delar (when the little "event" has taken place and you can once again move) you don't have to panic (as I did and rushed for the GM ticket). What you do is very simple. Go back out to Halduron Brightwing, abandon the quest, and re-take it. You'll get to see the little chat again in Sunwell, and then you've learnt from your previous misstake and pick the restored sword up before it disappears again.

At this point you will want to talk to one of the guards outside of Sunwell called Warden of the Sunwell. DO NOT just go into Sunwell. Talking to the guard transports you into a solo version of Sunwell Plateau with all green NPC's. They will not attack you and you won't need to get a raid together in order to complete this. After a brief encounter (no combat involved) with the NPC's around the sunwell you will get your Restored Quel'Delar and your mace will be practically in hand. Enjoy!

Description
I admit, I was skeptical that you had actually re-forged Quel'Delar and I did not expect Thalorien's spirit to reveal itself to you. You cannot understand what it means to my people that Quel'Delar has been recovered. As promised, I will admit you to the Sunwell and you will find the leaders of Silvermoon within. Carry the sword to the chamber of the Sunwell and immerse it. Once the blade is restored, return with it to Caladis Brightspear at Quel'Delar's Rest.
