The Purespring (Horde)

The Purespring is a Horde-only quest for level 15-30 in Swamp of Sorrows. It is step 34 of 36 in the Swamp of Sorrows storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Swamp of Sorrows at 21.2, 51.7. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Helgrum's breathing slows. His time is near.

I need water. Elementals roam the ponds of Purespring Cavern. The water that flows from them is the purest in this swamp.

Even if I could risk leaving Helgrum's side, my axe would shudder in my hand. I must beg you once again to pity me, for his comfort. Bring me the motes of the elementals, that his final drink may be pure and refreshing.

I received the quest Neeka Bloodscar after completing Swamp of Sorrows Quests already. As such, my only motivation was to continue questing in the zone on the off chance that there may be transmog gear I would get for the new transmog wardrobe in Legion.

Below is the chain of quests I pursued after Neeka Bloodscar; in essence, there was no transmog gear rewarded by any of them. As such, there is not much of a point to pursuing them unless you are interested in some meager gold, a bit of story, or have yet to complete Swamp of Sorrows Quests.

  6. The Purespring

  8. With Dying Breath (Rewards the trinket [item=64627])

  10. Ruag's Report

That is every comment on this page.

Helgrum's wounds fester in the swamp air. They swell and ooze, filling his final moments with suffering. I must have something to coat them with. The spirits move through this mire.

  • Last RegretsSwamp of Sorrows · Level 15-30

If I am reduced to groveling, I may as well ask everything I can. There is one last favor I would ask of you, one more task a shamed orc pleads for. Helgrum had a prized prey. Duskfang, eater of ogres, the great panther of Misty Valley. He would never allow himself the leisure of stalking it.
