Crafting estimate at current listings
No real market: too few listings for this price to mean anything yet.

- Listed value of one craft
- 250 gold

Thin market: the crafted item’s lowest listing comes from very few current listings and sits far out of line with reagent cost. Treat this estimate as unverified until more listings accrue.
- Evidence: 9 current listings holding 460 units of the crafted item in the US region. We see listings, not sales, so how many sell and at what price is unknown.
- Items per craft: the game’s spell data creates 5 per craft, so the listed value of one craft is that many times the lowest listed price.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 3 reagents for one craft of Brilliant Wizard Oil cost 4 gold80 silver. Most of that is Firebloom - 3 at 1 gold55 silver each, 4 gold65 silver, 96.9% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 5 gold5 silver per craft, 1 gold1 silver per item at 5 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 50 gold, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 245 gold20 silver; the Auction House would keep 12 gold50 silver of a sale, leaving 232 gold70 silver. That is an estimated 4847.9% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 5.1% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 460 units across 9 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
