Elemental Focusing Lens quality ranks
Elemental Focusing Lens comes in 3 quality ranks, and each rank is its own item on the Auction House. The recipe’s base crafting difficulty is 305.
| Rank | Item | Lowest listed price | Listings (US) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rank 1 | Elemental Focusing Lens | 451 gold96 silver | 6 listings, 77 units |
| Rank 2 | Elemental Focusing Lens | 579 gold4 silver | 6 listings, 54 units |
| Rank 3 | Elemental Focusing Lens | 17 gold82 silver | 11 listings, 117 units |
The crafting estimate above is the base comparison: rank 1 reagents against the rank 1 result. Your skill and the reagents’ ranks decide which rank a craft actually makes, so a higher rank is never priced against rank 1 reagents here. Right now rank 1 lists above rank 3, so a craft that comes out at a higher rank is worth less at today’s listings, not more.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Elemental Focusing Lens cost 82 gold86 silver. Most of that is Decorative Lens - 1 at 43 gold88 silver each, 43 gold88 silver, 53.0% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 87 gold22 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 451 gold96 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 369 gold10 silver; the Auction House would keep 22 gold59 silver of a sale, leaving 346 gold50 silver. That is an estimated 418.2% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 6.1% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 77 units across 6 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
