Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Enchanted Elethium Bar cost 27 gold97 silver. Most of that is Elethium Ore - 2 at 13 gold89 silver each, 27 gold78 silver, 99.3% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 29 gold44 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 38 gold15 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 10 gold18 silver; the Auction House would keep 1 gold90 silver of a sale, leaving 8 gold27 silver. That is an estimated 29.6% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 18.7% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 3,018 units across 22 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
