Forest Hunter's Armor Kit quality ranks
Forest Hunter's Armor Kit comes in 2 quality ranks, and each rank is its own item on the Auction House. The recipe’s base crafting difficulty is 500.
| Rank | Item | Lowest listed price | Listings (US) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rank 1 | Forest Hunter's Armor Kit | 800 gold | 17 listings, 91 units |
| Rank 2 | Forest Hunter's Armor Kit | 711 gold99 silver | 46 listings, 1,296 units |
The crafting estimate above is the base comparison: rank 1 reagents against the rank 1 result. Your skill and the reagents’ ranks decide which rank a craft actually makes, so a higher rank is never priced against rank 1 reagents here. Right now rank 1 lists above rank 2, so a craft that comes out at a higher rank is worth less at today’s listings, not more.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 5 reagents for one craft of Forest Hunter's Armor Kit cost 1,413 gold79 silver. Most of that is Infused Scalewoven Hide - 1 at 1,099 gold33 silver each, 1,099 gold33 silver, 77.8% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 1,488 gold20 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 800 gold, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −613 gold79 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 40 gold of a sale, so a craft loses 653 gold79 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -46.2% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 91 units across 17 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
