Primal Weightstone quality ranks
Primal Weightstone comes in 3 quality ranks, and each rank is its own item on the Auction House. The recipe’s base crafting difficulty is 325.
| Rank | Item | Lowest listed price | Listings (US) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rank 1 | Primal Weightstone | 4 gold48 silver | 8 listings, 78 units |
| Rank 2 | Primal Weightstone | 3 gold55 silver | 9 listings, 86 units |
| Rank 3 | Primal Weightstone | 8 gold57 silver | 4 listings, 47 units |
The crafting estimate above is the base comparison: rank 1 reagents against the rank 1 result. Your skill and the reagents’ ranks decide which rank a craft actually makes, so a higher rank is never priced against rank 1 reagents here. Right now rank 1 lists above rank 2, so a craft that comes out at a higher rank is worth less at today’s listings, not more.
Where the reagents come from

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Primal Weightstone cost 144 gold99 silver. Most of that is Glossy Stone - 4 at 20 gold each, 80 gold, 55.2% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 152 gold62 silver per craft, 30 gold52 silver per item at 5 items a craft - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 4 gold48 silver, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −122 gold59 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 1 gold12 silver of a sale, so a craft loses 123 gold71 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -85.3% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 78 units across 8 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
