Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 1 reagent for one craft of Refine Bismuth |A:Professions-ChatIcon-Quality-Tier2:20:20|a cost 34 gold95 silver.
Break-even is 36 gold78 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 7 gold30 silver, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −27 gold65 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 36 silver50 copper of a sale, so a craft loses 28 gold1 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -80.2% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 122,373 units across 273 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
