Crafting estimate at current listings
No real market: too few listings for this price to mean anything yet.
- Reagent cost (lowest listed)

- Crafted item, lowest listed price
- 9 gold79 silver
- Auction House cut (5%)
- 48 silver95 copper

Thin market: the crafted item’s lowest listing comes from very few current listings and sits far out of line with reagent cost. Treat this estimate as unverified until more listings accrue.
- Evidence: 13 current listings holding 150 units of the crafted item in the US region. We see listings, not sales, so how many sell and at what price is unknown.

The current lowest listing is 1% below its 30-day median. Over these 30 days the lowest listing moved more than tenfold, so a single snapshot, including the one the estimate uses, can sit far from typical.

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 1 reagent for one craft of Salted Eye cost 15 silver.
Break-even is 15 silver79 copper - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 9 gold79 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 9 gold64 silver; the Auction House would keep 48 silver95 copper of a sale, leaving 9 gold15 silver. That is an estimated 6100.3% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 5.1% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 150 units across 13 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
