Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Solid Weightstone cost 13 silver. Most of that is Solid Stone - 1 at 11 silver each, 11 silver, 84.6% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 13 silver68 copper - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 2 gold12 silver, which clears it.
At that listed price the gross margin before fees is 1 gold99 silver; the Auction House would keep 10 silver60 copper of a sale, leaving 1 gold88 silver. That is an estimated 1449.2% return on the gold you put into reagents, after the cut has taken 5.3% of the gross.
Listing depth right now: 134 units across 9 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
