Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Thalassian Skeleton Key cost 57 gold75 silver. Most of that is Refulgent Copper Ore - 6 at 6 gold33 silver each, 37 gold98 silver, 65.8% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 60 gold78 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item’s lowest listed price is 46 gold97 silver, which does not clear it.
The crafted item currently lists for less than its reagents cost: −10 gold78 silver before fees, and the Auction House would still take 2 gold34 silver of a sale, so a craft loses 13 gold12 silver at these prices. At current listings, buying the crafted item costs less than making it. That is an estimated -22.7% return on the gold you put into reagents.
Listing depth right now: 196 units across 12 auctions region-wide. Depth separates a market price from a single asking figure, but listings are not sales, so read it alongside the estimate.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
