Where the reagents come from
Bronze Bar. Made with Smelt Bronze (Mining, Classic Mining) from 1
Copper Bar and 1
Tin Bar, 2 per craft. At lowest listed prices that makes one Bronze Bar for 2 gold35 silver, against 2 gold70 silver listed. Also a required reagent in 41 other recipes (24 Blacksmithing, 10 Engineering and 7 Jewelcrafting); Shining Silver Breastplate takes the most, 20 per craft.
Large Opal. No recipe, Blizzard quest reward or dungeon journal drop in our game data produces it. Also a required reagent in 26 other recipes (18 Blacksmithing, 5 Jewelcrafting and 3 Engineering); the most per craft: Stygian Shield (Blacksmithing, 20 per craft), Axe of Sundered Bone (Blacksmithing, 16 per craft), Gem of the Nerubians (Jewelcrafting, 14 per craft), Edict of the Redeemed Crusader (Blacksmithing, 12 per craft) and Masterwork Stormhammer (Blacksmithing, 8 per craft).

Reading these numbers
At current lowest listed prices the 2 reagents for one craft of Wanderer's Guide cost 83 gold. Most of that is Bronze Bar - 30 at 2 gold70 silver each, 81 gold, 97.6% of the whole basket. Watch that one price and you have watched most of this recipe.
Break-even is 87 gold36 silver - below that listed price the craft loses gold once Blizzard’s 5% cut is taken. The crafted item has no current Auction House listing to compare it against, so the estimate above is left unknown rather than guessed.
Costs use each reagent’s lowest listed price; the estimate is the crafted item’s lowest listed price, times the items one craft makes, minus those reagents and Blizzard’s 5% sale cut. Listings are asking prices, not sales. Recalculated every snapshot and left blank rather than guessed when a price is missing. How we estimate crafting profit →
