Each pack bundles a theme from the game client: raid bosses, peons, murlocs, interface alerts, mounts. The Discord pack holds every clip at 5.2 seconds or less, ready for a server soundboard. The Android pack holds the same clips as ringtones and notification sounds. Open a pack to hear each clip first.
Download the Discord pack below and unzip it (Windows: right-click, Extract All; Mac: double-click; phone: open it in your Files app and tap Extract).
In Discord open Server Settings, then Soundboard, then Upload Sound.
Pick one .ogg from the pack, give it a name and an emoji, set the volume, and upload.
Repeat for the clips you want. Members play them from the soundboard button in a voice channel.
Every clip in a Discord pack is 5.2 seconds or shorter and under 512 KB, Discord's soundboard limits, so nothing needs trimming.
You need the Create Expressions or Manage Expressions permission on the server.
Sound slots depend on the server's boost level: 8 with no boosts, 24 at level 1, 36 at level 2 and 48 at level 3. Pick your favourites if the pack has more clips than you have slots.
Discord takes MP3, OGG and WAV. The packs use OGG because it is the smallest at the same quality.
How to use a pack on Android
Download the Android pack on your phone and open it in the Files app (Files by Google or My Files on Samsung), then tap Extract.
Move the Ringtones folder's files to the Ringtones folder on internal storage and the Notifications folder's files to Notifications, so the system lists them.
Open Settings, Sound & vibration (Sounds and vibration on Samsung), then Phone ringtone or Default notification sound.
Tap My sounds, then the + button (on Samsung, the + at the top of the ringtone list) and pick the clip.
For one person only: open Contacts, pick the contact, open the three-dot menu and tap Set ringtone (on Samsung: Edit, then Ringtone).
Ringtones/ holds MP3s and Notifications/ holds OGG files, all 30 seconds or shorter.
Android plays both formats natively; OGG is the format the system's own alert sounds use.
On an iPhone use the .m4r download on each sound's page instead: iPhone ringtones must be .m4r files.
