I very much dislike this mechanic. Can hardly get any on the way down and no chance to go back up for the ones missed.
Ive tried many times to figure out the secret to doing it so they spawn in a straight column and I have yet to see any factor other than RNG which causes a good dispersion. Sometimes they are really spread apart, sometimes fairly close together. Several times I've gotten them to be perfectly stacked and you get all of them as youre launched upwards. It seems to work best when youre standing directly on top of the herb, but as far as getting it perfect its not reliable.
