Someone will surely purge me down... but all black mounts are PvP reward...

If we consider it a PvP reward we can fancy about it a little bit more...
1. It will randomly drop from mobs in wintergrasp? Maybe a rare mob (like the proto-drake) only visible if your faction has the control of wintergrasp?
2. New arena reward?
3. It may be a rare drop avaible when you remove the insignia from dead players? (instead of the gray items we have seen till now)

Though your ideas are definitely plausible, Archeologists, might I remind you that there are quite a few Black mounts that have nothing to do with PVP. - Black Proto-Drake (Heroic Raid Achievements) - Black War Mammoth (Though possible to obtain through PVP methods, it's perfectly obtainable without ever doing any PVP either, so I'd not count it as a PVP mount) - Grand Black War Mammoth (Rare drop from Heroic Vault of Archavon) - [url=http:

With the news that there will be another wing and boss in wintergrasp in arena season 6 to keep it being fought over, its entirely possible that this will drop off of that boss the way that the Grand black mammoth drops off Archavon. just a theory for now

EDIT: looks like i may be wrong, sites point to the new boss dropping the Grand mammoth as well.

EDIT 6/18: there will be a new Dragonhawk mount for sunreavers in 3.2 could it be the Black one?
