TheWoWDBI have noticed with my Hawkstriders that if you summon them and start running right before the spell bar is done, the bar will cancel out saying "Interrupted" but the Hawkstrider will still be summoned.
It only saves ya a few milliseconds, but is still a few milliseconds less standing still.
I imagine this works with all mounts since they are all basically the same thing, just different types and speed percentages, but I only have belf mounts at the moment so I'm not able to confirm this.

When you run the wings stay expanded/out. When you walk the wings flap. ^^. /mountspecial the hawkstriders stretches and screeches. The idle animation is the hawkstrider biting one of its wings/side.
