TheWoWDBWhich is quite a let down. To resolve alliance complaints about horde getting rams last year Blizz decides to create the kodo and make it only available to the horde. So those alliance players who QQ'd last year will QQ that much more furiously.

It's changed. Alliance can get Kodos as of Brewfest 2008.
Hordies can rest assured: according to a blue post these Kodo mounts will NOT be available to Alliance players. The same goes for the Rams, they won't be available anymore to Horde players. http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=7378120809&pageNo=2&sid=1#35
