Cursed Mastery

The wording of this enchant's description is stupid.

"Permanently infuses a ring with a cursed chant, sapping 100 of your Critical Strike while granting 335 Mastery. Cannot be applied to items lower than 350."

I get what the word permanent means, but "sapping" makes me think of rogue sapping where it will wear off, as would a "curse". Some items in this game do have periodic bursts of stats, so when the wording goofs around like this, it's only normal to second guess if it is indeed permanent, or if there is a temporary sap or curse of the stat being lowered.

So let me tell you in simple terms what this enchant does: It merely REMOVES 100 Critical Strike from your base stats, and GIVES you 335 Mastery. It remains as such on the ring at all times, just like the other ring enchant (as of TWW, Gleaming Mastery). So yes, it's permanent. Don't let the fluff of the description get in the way of that.

*NOTE: Q3 of the enchant removes 115 Critical Strike, and gives you 390 Mastery.
