Tooltip

Living Shadows devour life from their target, inflicting 104.935 Shadow damage and reducing their healing and absorption received by 40% for 45 sec. This act destroys the Living Shadow.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Devour Life is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 104.935.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 118. Its base value is -40.
  3. Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 422. Its base value is -40.

What it does

Devour Life is a Shadow spell with an instant cast, a range of 5 yards, a 5 sec cooldown and effects that last 45 sec. When cast it deals Shadow damage (base value 104.935) and applies an aura. It stacks up to 99 times.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
