I would just like to add that although you can transmog any head piece to look like one of these crowns; you can not transmog this crown to look like any other head piece. Wearing one now and I can't transmog it at all which seems stupid.

Are you sure? Most of my characters are wearing one of these, and they do their routine transmog to look like whatever their preferred look is, and have never had a problem. Maybe it's a 7.3.0 problem, and this comment is outdated?
