This is a Hunter pet skill planned on been introduced for WoD expansion which will place the Healing Debuff, Mortal Wounds.

With Widow Venoms removal and no talk of it been baked in with another shot in addition to the fact that Hunters now have 3 separate pet sources of causing Mortal wounds would strongly suggest that Hunters who want the heal debuff will need either a Scorpion, Crocolisk or River Beast.

The other skills are as follows:

- Deadly Sting
- Deadly Bite

While some may be happy to see Widow Venom becoming potentially more automatic and not consuming a GCD and such, I am also sure there are Hunters out there who will be 1) Annoyed at been pigeon holed into choosing 1 of 3 pet types and 2) Curious as to what effect / compensation will hunters using Lone Wolf get?

I personally think they should make lone wolf work like the Warlock equivalent, not only increasing damage but allowing the user to select a pet of choice (At the time of activating Lone Wolf) and thus while lone wolf is active, letting the hunter use a skill which would no longer be available as a result of the pets removal, or by baking it into a spell which will be used commonly by the Hunter while under Lone Wolf effects.

Interesting to see what will happen here, as it's early Alpha I shall do my best to keep an eye on this and report any changes.
