Cooldown is not always 24 hours as stated, the cooldown resets at midnight regardless of the time the item was created.
Requires standing in the Silken Fields, an area in the center of Valley of the Four Winds, just south-east of Halfhill.The other method of crafting is Song of Harmony which offers no cooldown but requires 3 x Spirit of Harmony in place of 3 of the 8 bolts of cloth. This methods requires standing in the Silken Fields like its counterpart.
Discoverable patterns have been, added in 5.2.0, from using the Imperial Silk daily cooldown. These have been working much like Inscription research, where each Imperial Silk has also taught a new tailoring pattern.
The Song of Harmony does not offer the chance to learn any recipes.
