In addition to receiving the pet, they were also also awarded the Jade Tiger achievement.

Darn, I saw this in my book on the North American servers and thought it would be the perfect pet for my toon, but came here and had my hopes dashed. It almost makes me wish they would take out the pets that are impossible to get in other countries, i.e, Chinese billing, Taiwanese Coke promo, but then I wouldn't get to see all the cool pets. Oh well...
