TheWoWDBPerhaps predictably, the 20% mount speed buff does not stack with either the guild "Mount Up" perk or the Paladin/DK mount speed buff.
That means that unless you're un-guilded, these actually only provide a 10% mount speed boost, not 20%.
If you're a Paladin or DK, they will have no effect at all, so save your gold.
Disappointing, but expected since the devs never budged on the similar uselessness of the mount speed buff from the garrison stables in Draenor.

If you apply buff out in the Isle... go back to Dalaran... then return to isle via flight path it immediately wears off regardless of time left.
The Leather Working Item that prevents dazed effect does not have this issue.

Thanks, I came here exactly looking for this. It's important to note that it's a 10% of your "base" walking speed, so in practical terms you'll only notice (if so) an increment of (100 / 210) * 10 = 4.75% in your mounted speed. Pretty useless, Demonsteels Stirrups are far more better to attach than this.
