Tooltip

Inflicts 40 Nature damage and reduces movement speed by 40% for 14 sec.

If a player is hit again while already afflicted with Lightning Nova, stuns for 5 sec.

How it works

It does not trigger the global cooldown, so it can be used between other casts. Its dispel type is client id 1. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Lightning Nova is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its base value is 40. Its area radius is 100 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 33. Its base value is 40. It applies the snared mechanic. Its area radius is 100 yards.
  3. Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 226. Its area radius is 100 yards. It ticks every 1 sec, 14 times over the full 14 sec.

What it does

Lightning Nova is a Nature spell with a 3 sec cast, no range (it targets the caster), a 5 sec cooldown and effects that last 14 sec. When cast it deals Nature damage (base value 40) in a 100 yard radius, applies an aura with the snared mechanic in a 100 yard radius and applies an aura in a 100 yard radius every 1 sec. It stacks up to 2 times.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
