This recipe is an excellent way to level up your enchanting from scratch if you don't have any old mats from the previous expansions. If you have the trading post in your garrison and some stashed resources, just go buy some Draenic Dust and make this repice. Draenor enchanting can be learned from the NPC in Ashran.
The Luminous Shards can in turn be used for ring enchants such as Breath of Critical Strike and so forth.
