When Nightmare Ichor are killed, they burst in an explosion of nightmare energy, inflicting Shadow damage to nearby players.

This explosion will also damage the Eye of Il'gynoth, bypassing all damage reduction and inflicting 0.000559756% of the Eye's health as Shadow damage.

How it works

Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Nightmare Explosion is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is School Damage (effect type 2). Its area radius is 10 yards.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 3. Its base value is 22.3902 per tick. Its area radius is 300 yards. It ticks every 2 sec, 2 times over the full 4 sec (44.78 base in total).

What it does

Nightmare Explosion is a Shadow spell with a 2.5 sec cast, no range (it targets the caster) and effects that last 4 sec. When cast it deals Shadow damage in a 10 yard radius and applies an aura in a 300 yard radius every 2 sec. It stacks up to 99 times.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
