TheWoWDBIf you want to farm most of the leather yourself, the first bunch of mobs in the Oculus are a pretty good farm. Ruby Sanctum is also great, run around, pull all trash in a loop to the entrance then reset. I farmed the raptors up by GunDrak and got a Gundrak Hatchling pet drop.
You'll want roughly 2000 borean leather. Farming oculus or ruby sanctum will also offer a lot of Icy Dragonscales, which can also be used in a few orange crafts, such as Scaled Icewalkers (yellow@40) or Eaglebane Bracers (yellow at 50) to save on some heavy leather.
