How it works

Petrifying Gaze is built from 2 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 23. It ticks every 1 sec, 4 times over the full 4 sec. It triggers Petrifying Gaze.
  2. Effect 2 is effect type 226, which the datamine does not name.

What it does

Petrifying Gaze is a Nature spell with a 3 sec cast, no range (it targets the caster) and effects that last 4 sec. When cast it applies an aura every 1 sec. It also casts Petrifying Gaze (record #461891).
