Phoenix Hawk Hatchling

Unlike some of the other battle-pets that share the dragonhawk model, this one does not fly alongside you, and appears to be limited to the ground. He does do a nifty little flame whirl attack every once in a while, though.

Got this on the PTR in my first run. (Only one of the new vanity pet that dropped for me when I ran Karazhan, Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep).

Put together a short video showcasing the Phoenix Hawk Hatchling and its abilities in action.

A bit disappointed in the pet overall, but it still looks kinda cool.

This pet just dropped for me while I was doing my weekly solo farm of Tempest Keep. 7/27/2013 on Kirin Tor at 4:23 am Central. I do not even know how rare it is but it is a very pretty pink and purple pet. Fly's just above the ground and every once in a while does a spin animation that appears to blow feathers in a circle that I believe may be his "quills" ability. I have 450+ pets so it was a welcome addition to my gang. I feel very lucky. I will update later when I get a good feel of what it is like in battles.
