Tooltip

Transforms the enemy into a porcupine, wandering around incapacitated for 1 min. While affected, the victim cannot take actions but will regenerate health very quickly. Damage will cancel the effect. Limit 1.

Only works on Beasts, Humanoids and Critters. When critters are affected, can affect multiple targets, and has a duration of 1 day.

How it works

Casting it triggers a 1.5 sec global cooldown. Its dispel type is client id 1. Its aura procs every time its trigger condition is met.

Polymorph is built from 3 client effects, applied in this order:

  1. Effect 1 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 5.
  2. Effect 2 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 56.
  3. Effect 3 is Apply Aura (effect type 6). It applies aura type 61.

What it does

Polymorph is an Arcane spell with a 1.7 sec cast, a range of 30 yards and effects that last 1 min. When cast it applies an aura. The client files the whole spell under the polymorphed mechanic.

Generated from the SpellEffect, SpellMisc, SpellCooldowns and SpellRange records in the current retail game build. Effects the client marks as internal hooks are left out.
