TheWoWDBAt the moment it seems not to work at all, even though I entchanted my cloak with it, while mounted I get dazed, and even when I try to run from enemies on foot I get dazed ...^
Edit(08/27/2018): I've noticed that in the german tooltip it also states, that it prevents getting dazed even while mounted, although it still does not work for me.
Edit(02/16/2019): Since I haven't tried out the Spellthread for a while I only found out just now, that the tooltip in other languages has been updated to reflect, that it is only supposed to work while running/walking.

i think this is just another joke to *!@# on tailors just like that blanket that did absolutely nothing.
If anything, currently this seems to increase the chance of being dazed while mounted.
Tooltip
Permanently embroiders your cloak with resilient spellthread, preventing you from being dazed while running or walking in Kul Tiras or Zandalar. Only the tailor's cloak can be embroidered, and doing so will cause them to become soulbound.
