Yellow Moth

This pet is a little-known powerhouse. When buying the [item=29903] from [npc=21019] in Exodar, learn it immediately and keep buying eggs until you find a moth with a breed-4, P/P build. At level 1, uncommon (i.e. when you first learn it) the breed 4 will have stats of H=148 / P=13 / S=9. Be sure to level it up several levels before upgrading it (I recommend at least level 10), as there have been reports of upgrading re-assigning the breed if done at low levels.

Once it reaches level 25, the Yellow Moth will have 341 power, making it a crushing opponent for aquatics. Don't let the low speed (244) worry you - because of the species benefit flying pets enjoy, it will have 50% more speed as long as it has 50% or more of its health (In essence, you'll start the battle with 341 power and 366 speed, which should grant you first shot in most situations). Open with [petability=508], follow with [petability=504] and save [petability=506] for when your health is low (though if your first attack puts your opponent to sleep, he may never hit you).
