It sounds like you're suggesting it's not worth it without the cleave? I think the fact that your pet is your highest amount of Unholy damage and Dark Transformation increases it by 100% - makes it worth hitting. =S

Sweeping Claws will be an 8yd frontal cone in the next next build. Vile Gas will be a 10yd AoE. That’s still a fine difference between them.
