Translocated Gorger

Twenty Devoured Energy-Pods are required to create the [item=246159] ground mount. You can acquire up to 4x [item=246240]s on your Warband every week. So, you'll need a minimum of 5 weeks to get the mount. They are guaranteed drops from Rares (final bosses) tied to a new World Event, known as "Devourer Attacks" in K'aresh:

• Overall, we have 4 locations for these Devourer Attacks, and only one will be active at a time. The next one starts 15-30 minutes after killing the Rare of the last one. These timings seem to be heavily shard-restricted, so make sure you're not leaving the zone when you plan to do all 4 locations in one go without using the group finder.
  
  This is their rotation: The Oasis --> Eco-dome: Primus --> The Atrium --> Tazavesh
  (Recently they also tested randomizing the locations with only 5-10 minutes waiting time, so not sure what we'll see on Retail)

• As long as a character hasn't killed the Rare of a specific Devourer Attack this week, they will see a Vignette on the map for this attack when active, along with chat messages tied to the event start, spawn of the Rare, and its defeat.

• When you're at the location of an ongoing attack, you'll see a progress bar on top of your screen that fills by killing devourers nearby. As soon as the bar is filled, a location-specific Rare will spawn./way #2371 71.79 28.22 Korgoth the Hungerer (The Oasis)

• When defeated, these Rares can be looted for their specific quest-starter (once per week & character; e.g., [item=238665]) for a turn-in at Ve'nari at The Oasis eco-dome to add massive 20% progress each to your Ecological Succession Weekly, 1x [item=246240] (once per Rare & Warband & week!), and some standard Rare loot like 15 [faction=2658] reputation (once per week & Warband), etc.

This limitation to first kills of a week means that your Warband has to kill each of the 4 different Rares to get the maximum of 4x [item=246240]s for a week. You can't repeat single Rares to get them! I assume we'll see a lot of shard-hopping in the group finder for this, which will hopefully help players with less playtime to avoid missing a specific Devourer Attack constantly while they can play.
Remember that the timer for the next Devourer Attack only starts with the last one's boss defeated, so you may have to repeat events when other players don't do that to initiate the timer for the next one. Another reminder: You can progress on Ve'nari's Anima Reclamation Program Weekly while doing Devourer Attacks, so don't forget to accept that at The Oasis.
