Transmute: Meat to Pet

The new Legion Alchemy transmute Transmute: Meat to Pet will create a [item=137599], which, after 7 days, will yield a [item=137608].
The [item=137608], in turn, can contain a number of various pets - some of which are not that rare at all! As such, you may have to make a number of these before you get the pets you want.

Transmute: Meat to Pet is one of the new Transmutations that Alchemists will be able to perform in Legion.

Each of the basic transmutations (listed in the first section below) has a chance to yield a transmutagen (either [item=137597], [item=137596] or [item=137595]).
These transmutagens, in turn, can be used for more lucrative transmutes (the ones listed at the end of this comment).

All 10 transmutation spells are discoveries, which are specifically related to the spell [item=141323]. The recipe for this, [item=128209], is available from [npc=92457] after completing the Return the Filter in the Alchemy profession quest line.

[item=141323] can be only performed once a day, and is on a separate cooldown from the other 10 Legion transmutations. It will reward random crafting materials - herbs, enchanting reagents, cloth, ore, etc. and a chance to learn one of the 10 transmutation spells. In addition, it will sometimes produce some transmutagens.
