You need flight preemptively in order to gain the flight benefit of the item, otherwise it just turns you into a pretty green owl. She's still holding her hunter bow even transformed however.

It will also tell your guild that you received this legendary when you craft, as other legendaries that you receive. but not if you are traded the item and put it on. It's even more comedic that I am a druid and it confused my guild to all ends that I received a mail legendary.

Also good to note, you cannot buy the prime wardenscale so after you after you craft one, you can't just craft more to sell. going to have to wait until the next time the nether disruptor is up to be able to craft another i believe. as in get another commondation.
