Did the Night Fae Assault questline, got the War Chest of the Wild Hunt and opened it for a few rewards including an armor piece, cataloged research, anima, and this mount. Kinda figured it was 100% or based on covenant or something, but my friend did it and opened the chest and did not get the mount.
Not sure what the drop chances are but I feel proud having it first (of what I've seen).
