Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. 33 of 50 pieces are Bind on Equip.

2 other sets reuse the 3D models of Dreadthorn Battlegear’s head, shoulder and waist, most shared models first:

• Sunborne Runemail (Legion, 10 pieces): the same head, shoulder and waist models, recoloured.
• Hauberk of Discipline (Dragonflight, 10 pieces): the same head, shoulder and waist models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

42 pieces of Dreadthorn Battlegear can be listed on the Auction House (they do not bind on pickup); 42 have a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.

Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.

Sets from the same content batch with the same class restriction.
