Source is the collection journal’s own source for each appearance, read from the current retail build; bosses, quests, recipes, prices and requirements come from the game’s item, journal and quest records.

This is a partial outfit - it fills 7 armor slots, so a full look needs 1 more slot from elsewhere. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

Ensemble: Gladiator's Plate Armor is a single item whose use effect learns all of Gladiator's Plate Armor at once. It is Bind on Pickup. Using it requires level 27.

5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Gladiator's Battlegear, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

• 4 pieces: Disarm duration reduced by 50%.

9 companion sets shipped in the Season 1 group alongside it:

• PVP Rare Satin Battlegear - 15 pieces - Priest
• Gladiator Gladiator's Felweave Armor - 11 pieces - Warlock
• Gladiator Gladiator's Ringmail Armor - 27 pieces - Shaman
• Gladiator Gladiator's Leather Armor - 9 pieces - Rogue
• Gladiator Gladiator's Satin Armor - 13 pieces - Priest
• Gladiator Gladiator's Scaled Armor - 27 pieces - Paladin
• Gladiator Gladiator's Silk Armor - 10 pieces - Mage
• Gladiator Gladiator's Chain Armor - 9 pieces - Hunter
• Gladiator Gladiator's Dragonhide Armor - 27 pieces - Druid

5 pieces share their appearance with items outside this set, each with its own collection source:

• Gladiator's Plate Chestpiece uses the same appearance as Gladiator's Plate Chestpiece and Gladiator's Dreadplate Chestpiece.
• Gladiator's Plate Helm uses the same appearance as Gladiator's Plate Helm and Gladiator's Dreadplate Helm.
• Gladiator's Plate Shoulders uses the same appearance as Gladiator's Plate Shoulders and Gladiator's Dreadplate Shoulders.
• Gladiator's Plate Legguards uses the same appearance as Gladiator's Plate Legguards and Gladiator's Dreadplate Legguards.
• Gladiator's Plate Gauntlets uses the same appearance as Gladiator's Plate Gauntlets and Gladiator's Dreadplate Gauntlets.

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Gladiator's Plate Armor’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:

• Warbringer Armor (The Burning Crusade, 16 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.
