    What This Set Covers

This is a complete head-to-toe outfit - it fills 8 armor slots, so it can be worn as a full look with nothing borrowed from another set. Every piece is Bind on Pickup, so the appearances have to be earned rather than bought.

    The Ensemble

Ensemble: Grievous Gladiator's Dreadplate Armor is a single item whose use effect learns all of Grievous Gladiator's Dreadplate Armor at once. It is Bind on Pickup. Using it requires level 35.

    Set Bonus

10 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Gladiator's Desecration, which carries these bonuses in the game files:

    • 2 pieces: Whenever you are struck by a movement-impairing effect, you will generate 3 Runic Power every 1 sec for 5 sec.
    • 4 pieces: For 3 sec after casting Death Grip, you may cast the spell a second time without regard for its cooldown.

    Shared Pieces and Appearances

12 pieces share their appearance with items outside this set, each with its own collection source:

    Look-Alike Sets

1 other set reuses the 3D models of Grievous Gladiator's Dreadplate Armor’s head, shoulder and waist, most shared models first:

Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.

    Other Versions of This Set

The game data carries 4 separate set records under the name Grievous Gladiator's Dreadplate Armor - one per class or armor weight, plus the per-slot recolours the appearance was built from. This page is the one we index for the name; the others are listed here so nothing is lost.
