Where These Pieces Drop
14 of this set's 26 pieces drop from 9 encounters in 8 instances. The rest come from vendors, quests, crafting or world drops, which the dungeon journal does not record.
Drop chances are not stored in the client data we mine, so none are shown here.
Where to Farm This Set
5 bosses in Hellfire Ramparts, Karazhan and Mana-Tombs drop pieces of this set. Each instance below carries its Adventure Guide entry, where its entrance is, and what each boss drops.
At the heart of Outland's barren Hellfire Peninsula stands Hellfire Citadel, a nearly impenetrable bastion that served as the Horde's base of operations throughout the First and Second Wars.
The entrance is in Hellfire Peninsula at 47.5, 53.6 (/way #100 47.5 53.6).
Hellfire Ramparts entrance
Omor the Unscarred drops 1 piece of this set (Hands) on Normal and Heroic. Adventure Guide map pin: 39.1, 20.5 on the Hellfire Ramparts map. Omor the Unscarred was a disciple of Hakkar the Houndmaster, and took charge of the legendary warrior's remaining felhounds after his master's defeat during the War of the Ancients. Since that time, Omor has never been defeated in single combat. The venerable demon is Illidan's envoy to the fel orcs of Hellfire Citadel.
The original exiles on Draenor found death to be an unsettling and unfortunate consequence of life, and so the draenei hid their dead away in the subterranean grave-city of Auchindoun, a labyrinthine marvel located beneath the forests of Terokkar.
The entrance is in Terokkar Forest at 39.6, 57.4 (/way #108 39.6 57.4).
Mana-Tombs entrance
Nexus-Prince Shaffar drops 2 pieces of this set (Waist) on Normal, Heroic and Timewalking. Adventure Guide map pin: 32.4, 49.2 on the Mana-Tombs map. Convinced that vast riches lay within the depths of the Mana Tombs, Nexus-Prince Shaffar has spent untold amounts of his own considerable fortune to move an army into the shadowed halls of this crumbling ruin, and to keep competing ethereals out. The prince's greed knows no bounds, and he has vowed to uncover the mysteries of the Mana Tombs or die trying.
Set Bonus
5 pieces of this appearance set also belong to the item set Mana-Etched Regalia, which carries these bonuses in the game files:
2 pieces: Increases your critical strike by 35.
4 pieces: Your harmful spells have a chance to grant you 110 spell power for 15 sec.
Versions and Companion Sets
The game links 3 other versions to Mana-Etched Vestments, each labelled the way the collection journal labels it. This page is the Dungeons - White version.
2 other sets reuse the 3D models of Mana-Etched Vestments’s head and shoulder, most shared models first:
Mana-Etched Regalia (The Burning Crusade, 23 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, in the same colours.
Satin Battlegear (The Burning Crusade, 15 pieces): the same head and shoulder models, recoloured.
Matched in the game files: each piece’s ItemDisplayInfo names its 3D model and texture. The same model with another texture is a recolour. Only pieces with a 3D model of their own (helms, shoulders, cloaks, weapons, shields, off-hands and some belts and robes) can be compared this way; pieces drawn from textures alone are left out.
Buying the Tradeable Pieces
2 pieces of Mana-Etched Vestments can be listed on the Auction House (they do not bind on pickup); 2 have a listing on US connected realms in our latest scan.
Lowest listed price on any US connected realm in our recorded Auction House scan, per piece; transmog gear is priced per realm, so the realm named is where that price was seen.
